What is That Header, and is This Still Frameless?

Our customer in Dripping Springs, TX recently remodeled their bathroom to allow for a larger shower and increased functionality. This created a wide space with 2 pony walls. We created custom shower glass for this client, using 3 panels of glass to span the wide opening and allow for those pony walls. Given the overall width of the shower, and the layout of glass panels, our engineers suggested we add a header for stability. This way, any deflection (vibration) that can occur in glass would be significantly minimized. This is a Frameless shower, even though it has a header. Should an unlikely event ever happen and the header were to fail, we can quickly and easily remove and install a brand new header system without affecting the installed glass.
