Frameless splash panels, also known as “shower screens,” have been a mainstay of European bathrooms for decades. Americans and their growing love of open concept design have embraced this type of enclosure as a stylish alternative to traditional shower curtains or fully enclosed tubs.
Two things to keep in mind when considering a Splash Panel design:
- Without a door to keep in the steam, open showers may feel a bit “drafty”.
- Depending on placement of the shower head, overspray may escape the enclosure. Proceed with caution when putting in a child’s bathroom. Handheld showerheads are also not recommended.
